Live event streaming production in Dubai costs roughly AED 3,500 to 6,000 for a single-camera webinar, AED 12,000 to 18,000 for a three-camera corporate conference, and from AED 25,000 for a six-camera show in 4K with simulcast and an Arabic channel. Camera count, running time and whether you pay for a second internet path move that number far more than the venue does. A quote that does not name the camera count, the internet arrangement and the size of the crew is not really a quote.

One camera, three cameras, or six: what actually changes
The room decides the camera count, not the budget. Distance from the back row to the stage, and whether there is a second thing worth looking at, settle it in about a minute.
One camera is correct for a webinar, an internal town hall, or a panel where four people sit at one table in front of 80 guests. A locked wide plus a clean presentation feed gives the viewer at home everything they need. Paying for three cameras here buys you three cameras and nothing else.
Three cameras is the default for a corporate conference, a product launch, an awards evening with a stage. One wide on a tripod at front of house, one long lens holding the speaker’s face, one roaming for audience reaction. A slide can sit on screen for four minutes, and if that slide is your only option, viewers leave.
Six or more starts at gala dinners, main-stage keynotes in the big halls, and anything with music. You add a jib or slider for movement, long lenses from opposite sides so there is always a clean angle when someone walks, and a separate person on the switcher. If the far edge of your seating sits more than about 20 metres from the stage, a single wide camera turns your keynote speaker into a silhouette, and grading does not fix that.

The switcher, the encoder, and why we record every camera separately
The switcher makes one program picture out of many cameras in real time. The encoder turns that picture into a stream the internet can carry. Two boxes, two different failure modes.
A video switcher, or vision mixer, takes every camera feed and lets an operator cut, dissolve, add graphics and key in a presentation source, producing one program output. We work on Blackmagic ATEM hardware. An ATEM Mini Extreme handles HDMI shows with up to eight inputs. For a ballroom, an SDI-based ATEM Television Studio HD8 makes more sense, because SDI runs down BNC cable for 100 metres without degrading while HDMI starts failing past 15 metres. Camera positions in a Madinat Jumeirah ballroom sit 30 to 50 metres from the control table, and that single fact decides your cabling plan.
The encoder is a separate device. It compresses the program feed into H.264 or HEVC and pushes it to YouTube, LinkedIn, Vimeo or a corporate platform over RTMP. Blackmagic Web Presenter and Teradek units do this in a box with exactly one job.
Which brings up the honest argument about OBS. Software encoding on a laptop is fine for a webinar from a desk. In a ballroom it is the component that checks for updates at minute 40, or loses the USB capture device when someone knocks the table. We still bring a laptop to every job, but it drives graphics and the Zoom link, never the program feed.
ISO recording is the part clients forget to ask about. A capable switcher writes a separate file for each camera input alongside the live program, so the highlight edit afterwards is not stuck with whatever the operator cut live at 3pm. Confirm it is in the scope before the day rather than after.
Internet: the thing that actually breaks
Budget 25 Mbps of sustained upload for 1080p and around 100 Mbps for 4K, on a wired line, with a second path on standby. Venue WiFi is the most common cause of a stream that dies mid-keynote.
YouTube’s own live encoder guidance puts 1080p60 between 4,500 and 9,000 Kbps and 4K60 between 20,000 and 51,000 Kbps. The line has to carry more than the stream itself: a backup feed, a Zoom session, sometimes a second platform. Hence 25 and 100 as working minimums rather than theoretical ones.
Order a dedicated wired line through the venue, from Etisalat or du, with an RJ45 handoff at your control position. Order it weeks ahead, and ask whether the port is dedicated or shared with the guest network. Those are different products at similar prices.
Hotel and exhibition WiFi fails for a boring reason. The access points serving your control table also serve several hundred guests uploading to Instagram, and nothing prioritises your outbound video. At Dubai World Trade Centre during a busy hall, public WiFi is effectively unusable for broadcast. Expo City is newer and better provisioned, and still gets contended once the halls fill. Test at the hour your show runs, because the empty-room speed test at 8am is the most misleading number in this business.
Backup means bonded cellular: a LiveU or Peplink unit carrying SIMs from both Etisalat and du, aggregated into one path. Two carriers, not two SIMs from one, because the cell that congests when 2,000 guests arrive congests for everybody on that network. Failover from wired to bonded adds around AED 1,500 to 3,500 to a job, and on a CEO keynote it is the cheapest insurance in the budget.
Hybrid events: feeding Zoom and Teams while you broadcast outward
The program feed has to travel in two directions at once, and audio is where hybrid events break. Video rarely is.
Outward it goes switcher to encoder to platform. Inward it uses the switcher’s USB output, which most operating systems see as an ordinary webcam, so Zoom or Teams treats your produced multi-camera program as a camera source.
Audio takes more care. Take a feed from the venue’s front-of-house mixer over XLR, and ask their audio engineer for a mix-minus if you have remote speakers, so a person dialling in from London does not hear their own voice back a second later. A camera-mounted microphone in a ballroom records the ballroom, not the speaker.
Remote participants need a return path: their video into the switcher as an input, their audio into the venue PA, and someone whose only job is the queue of remote questions. Assign that person by name; leaving it to whoever notices is not a plan.
Technical rehearsal runs a minimum of two hours before doors, with the real remote speakers on the devices they will use. A stand-in on the venue network proves nothing about a speaker joining from a hotel room in Riyadh.
Simulcasting to YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook at the same time
You can push one show to YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook simultaneously. The strictest platform then sets the quality ceiling for all of them.
LinkedIn Live accepts a maximum of 1080p at 30 fps, up to 6,000 Kbps video, H.264 with AAC audio and a two-second keyframe interval. Exceed the frame rate and the connection is refused outright. So a 4K60 production cannot go natively to LinkedIn while it also goes to YouTube. Either transcode through a cloud restreaming service, which adds latency and one more dependency, or accept 1080p30 across the board and stop pretending the LinkedIn audience notices. Verify current platform specs before you lock the encoder profile, because they change without announcements.
The other simulcast cost is human. Every platform runs its own chat and needs its own moderator, or your CEO answers three questions on YouTube while forty LinkedIn comments sit unread.
Graphics, lower thirds and Arabic
Build every graphic before the day from the final run of show, and decide early whether Arabic is a live requirement or a post-event one, because those are different jobs at different prices.
Lower thirds carry speaker name, title and organisation. Spell them the way the speaker spells them, including transliterated Arabic names, because that is the frame people screenshot. Holding cards and countdown clocks fill the gaps that appear whenever a panel overruns.
Arabic on a live stream has two honest routes. A human interpreter working from a booth on a separate audio channel, delivered as a second stream, remains the reliable option for government and mixed-audience events. Automatic captioning still handles Gulf and Levantine dialect unevenly, and it handles the English-Arabic code-switching people actually use on a Dubai stage worse than that. For a room mixing Emirati nationals, GCC guests and expatriate staff, a second language channel often decides whether the recording gets circulated internally or quietly shelved. Subtitles added after the event, as burned-in text or an SRT file, are cheaper and more accurate when the Arabic version is mainly for later distribution.

These are working project bands rather than a fixed rate card. Venue, duration, load-in complexity and localisation all move them.

Each camera is a body, a lens, a tripod, a cable run and a person, so cameras scale in fours rather than ones. Show hours count twice over, since a four-hour event with a six-hour load-in is a full crew day. Redundancy is a real line item and the first thing clients try to delete. Localisation adds an interpreter, a second audio channel and a second stream.
These bands price live streaming as its own build: a dedicated switcher, ISO recording and redundant connectivity from the first camera, whether or not anyone is also filming the event for a highlight reel afterward. If a multi-camera crew is already booked to film the event and you only want one program feed added to that shoot, that is a lighter scope, priced as a streaming add-on to the filming day in our event videography guide, not a standalone broadcast build.
Timing is a cost driver of its own here. GITEX Global has left its long-running October slot at Dubai World Trade Centre and runs 7 to 11 December 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City. Freelance camera operators and switcher packages in Dubai now get booked out around that December window rather than October, so events landing in the same fortnight need crew locked earlier than you would have two years ago.

A three-camera show needs a four to six hour load-in. A single-camera webinar takes about 90 minutes. A six-camera gala usually means access the day before. If the venue offers only two hours for a three-camera build, either the scope shrinks or the risk climbs.
One boundary worth naming
We run the production. We do not rent out a bare room by the hour for you to operate yourself, and we do not buy the media that puts an audience in front of your stream; registration pages and paid promotion belong with a performance marketing team. Three, for almost any conference with a stage, a speaker and an audience: one wide, one long lens on faces, one roaming. Fewer and the stream is a static slide for long stretches. More only pays off with movement to follow or LED content worth its own camera. A webinar or town hall is fine on one.
What internet speed do I need to live stream an event?
