The highlight is what you send to family and post online. The full film is what you sit down and watch on an anniversary. Highlight-only packages exist because plenty of couples genuinely only want the shareable cut and don’t need twenty minutes of ceremony. That’s a fair call, and it’s the cheapest way in at AED 7,500–9,500.
Where «cinematic» earns its premium is craft. A cinematic wedding shoot means a director shaping the day, multiple cameras, deliberate lighting where the venue allows, a proper colour grade so skin tones and sunset match your memory, and sound design that layers vows over music instead of jump-cutting between them. Drone, second shooter, pre-shoot: who needs what
These three add-ons account for most of the gap between a AED 14,000 package and a AED 25,000 one. None of them are mandatory. Each solves a specific problem.
Drone (add AED 2,000–5,000). Worth it for venues where the setting is part of the story: a beach in Ras Al Khaimah, a desert camp, a rooftop or a sprawling estate. It’s dead money at a compact indoor ballroom where there’s nothing to fly over. In Dubai, aerial footage needs a GCAA-licensed operator and often a permit, which is why it’s a specialist add-on and not something a solo shooter tacks on with a hobby drone. Second shooter (add AED 4,000–6,000). The clearest upgrade for a real wedding. One camera can’t be at the groom’s prep and the bride’s entrance at the same time. A second shooter covers reactions, the other side of the aisle, and guest moments the main camera misses. For a ceremony with more than about 80 guests, or two getting-ready locations, this is the add-on I’d choose before drone.
Pre-shoot (add AED 2,000–4,000). A separate session, often days before the wedding, at a location you love. It gives you relaxed footage without wedding-day nerves, and it’s a chance to get comfortable on camera so you’re natural on the day. Optional, but couples who are camera-shy tend to find it pays off.

Same-day edit: cost, logistics and the honest version
A same-day edit is a short highlight, usually 60 to 90 seconds, cut and screened at your reception the same night. It’s a genuine wow moment, and it costs AED 5,000–8,000 on top of your package. Here’s the honest logistics, because plenty of studios sell it without explaining what it demands.
An editor works on-site through your event, pulling selects while the ceremony is still happening. The film has to be locked, exported and tested against the venue’s AV system before you screen it, which means the edit is effectively finished before your first dance. That’s why it carries a real premium: you’re paying for an editor’s full night of work under deadline pressure, plus the coordination with your venue’s projector and sound.
It works beautifully when the reception has a natural screening slot and the venue AV is solid. It’s a poor fit for a tight timeline with no gap to screen, or a venue where the AV is unknown. We’ll tell you upfront if your run-of-show doesn’t leave room for it, rather than promise something the night can’t deliver.

The full feature takes longest for a reason. A 20-minute film means selecting from a full day of footage across two cameras, syncing sound, colour grading every scene, and layering a soundtrack. Peak wedding season, roughly October to April in Dubai, stretches these timelines because every studio is editing at once. RAW footage and who owns your wedding film
You keep your RAW footage. Every clip we shoot on your day is delivered to you in full 4K, and the material is yours. This matters more than most couples realise at booking. If a studio only hands over the final edits and keeps or deletes the raw files, you can never re-cut the film later, pull a moment we didn’t include, or hand it to another editor in five years.
Not every studio works this way. Some charge extra for RAW, some don’t release it at all, some keep it for a limited window and then wipe it. Ask the question directly: do I own and receive the RAW footage, and is it included or an add-on? Get the answer in the contract.
